Have you ever thought about trying Competitive shooting? Here at GRITR Sports you can participate in two of the most popular shooting sports in the country, US Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA).

Whether you’re a first time shooter or a seasoned competitor, we have you covered. GRITR host’s an Introduction to Competitive Shooting class once a month, where we walk you through the basics of these two sports.

IDPA offers an exciting forum for practical shooters in which truly practical equipment, techniques and courses of fire are mandated. Prior to IDPA, there was no place to compete with common service pistols. There were no shooting sports where your concealed carry holster could also be your match holster without handicap.

USPSA: The United States Practical Shooting Association is the national governing body of practical shooting in the United States under the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC).

GRITR Sports is proud to announce our continued partnership with Cross Timbers Action Shooting Association (CTASA) – organizer of our IDPA and USPSA matches held at GRITR Sports. Together, we host the most competitive shooting matches per month – more than any other Range in the DFW metroplex!

Why should you choose CTASA as your club?

Jonathan Miller has been competing with CTASA for over a decade. He recently commented about CTASA and said

“I have competed in matches all over the country and CTASA is by far the most welcoming organization I’ve shot with. Everyone I have spoken with from the club is excited to have more match offerings in the metroplex and GRITR range is a favorite place for many to compete”– JM.

We are excited for this continued partnership with CTASA and look forward to being the premier location in the metroplex for practical and defensive shooting sports.
