The Gritr Range Shoot House is a modular, training solution. Its patented walls make it easy to quickly arrange in a multitude of different floor plans to suit the customers needs. It also allows for use of simulated munition systems to create a very realistic training environment. Utilizing shoot houses provides the missing element to any training curriculum.

GRITR Shoot House is your ultimate destination for tactical training focusing on close-quarters combat (CQC) simulations. This shooting facility is open to all legally armed citizens of the DFW area who seek to enhance their shooting skills and learn defense and room-clearing techniques. Students will train in a custom-built environment with state-of-the-art training systems produced by Unit Solutions and Trango Systems.

GRITR Shoot House stands out as an exceptional indoor shooting range where you can experience law enforcement and military training scenarios using realistic gun replicas that fire paint munitions, not live rounds. To maintain shooting range safety, no firearms or live ammunition are permitted to enter the Shoot House.

Shoot House offers two comprehensive courses. “Considerations in a Home Protection Plan” is a theory class teaching you how to assess your home security and prepare an effective protection plan. “Room Clearing 101” is a hands-on, four-hour course that will teach you how to protect your home in real-life combat scenarios. You’ll learn how to calm down in a high-stress situation, which will improve your decision-making and marksmanship.

If you’d like to utilize the Shoot House training facility for your own purposes, such as practicing immediate action or precision shooting drills, you can rent it for three hours at a time.

Does GRITR shooting range offer room clearing training?

Absolutely! We’ve recently introduced our Shoot House at the GRITR range. It’s an easily modifiable, simulation environment for learning and practicing home protection and room clearing techniques.

What do you do in Shoot House?

At our Shoot House, you’ll train in a realistic environment using replica non-lethal guns that shoot a specific kind of paint balls. You’ll get to practice room clearing techniques in various simulated settings, such as CQB, home defense, and more.

What types of guns will I use at the Shoot House?

In GRITR Shoot House, we use simulation guns that are made by real gun manufacturers. While they feel real, they actually fire paint munitions, ensuring safety while providing a realistic experience.

What kind of training does your Shoot House provide?

GRITR Shoot House offers two courses. The first course is founded on the principles taught in the USCCA’s Developing a Personal and Home-Protection Plan. It’s designed to boost your confidence in protecting your home. The second course draws heavily from current US Army Special Forces CQC techniques. You’ll understand basic concepts and practical applications of room clearing, home defense, and situational awareness.
