A highly decorated, medically retired Army Special Forces Green Beret veteran with a bachelor’s in Geographic Information Science, an MBA, and extensive military training and experience.

  • Class starts at 10:30 am and applicants must be in their seats by 10:15 am.
  • Customers should sign the range waiver prior to the start of the class.

This Course is designed to give new shooters the necessary skills to operate a pistol properly. Students will learn the fundamentals of a holster draw, and how to properly measure their shooting metrics to improve themselves, as well as the proper way to utilize magazine changes.

Intro to Competitive Shooting

This course has been created for individuals that are wanting to start the journey into the world of competitive shooting sports. Our curriculum is geared towards USPSA an IDPA matches. Your instructors will take you through the safety concepts, procedures, rules and the gear that is required for competing. There is a live fire portion that will help give you basic skills to compete in a “match”. You as the student will get to run a mini stage to see all concepts come together in a culminating event.

CONSIDERATIONS IN A HOME PROTECTION PLAN

Founded on the principals taught in the USCCA’s Developing a Personal and Home-Protection Plan, this course is intended to give you the tools to build your confidence in regards to protecting your home. In this course, you will develop an understanding of evaluation of home security, as well as an understanding of how to develop a personal protection plan. The course will take place both in our classroom, and in our shoot house to help bring theory to reality.

Room Clearing 101

This curriculum is heavily inspired by current US Army Special Forces CQC techniques. In this course students will be taught the individual skills necessary to operate in a team-based or solo environment. By the end of this course, you will understand the basic concepts and practical applications of room clearing, home defense, and situational awareness.

Intro to Night Vision

Immerse yourself in an all-inclusive night vision shooting experience. This course will have a classroom presentation where we will learn about different applications, history, and fitting of your night vision optical devices (NOD’s). We will then do a depth perception familiarization to ensure you are comfortable with your fit. Once complete, we will walk to our range where you will learn to utilize your weapon systems under low light conditions. By the end of the shooting portion our goal is for you to walk away with confidence in manipulating a weapon under NOD’s. During the range portion you will also learn how to engage multiple targets using an Infrared laser aiming systems. When you go through our course of fire you will undoubtedly understand the benefits of NOD’s. You will see what bumps in the night and learn how to bump back! CCHDF Instructors Course

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a USCCA certified instructor, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos).

During this two-day training course, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics, including: The top ten instructor mistakes, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers, as well as running a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire.

After completion of this course, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter, regardless of the topic of choice.
