We will cover everything you need to know before attending your first match\, including: \n\nDifferent types of competitive shooting disciplines and how they differ\nHow to find and register for matches\nUnderstanding divisions and equipment requirements\nWhat gear you actually need (and what can wait)\nMatch structure\, scoring\, round counts\, and stage procedures\nEssential competition safety rules and common causes of disqualification\nRange commands and what to expect when you’re on the clock\nStage walkthroughs and match etiquette\nBasic competition strategy and skills to focus on as a new shooter\nTips for making your first match safe\, fun\, and successful\n\nThe class will include a live-fire portion where students will apply what they’ve learned in a controlled environment. No prior competition experience is required.
